Our Story

Most of us don't have 3,000 square feet. We have apartments, studios, spare rooms pulling double duty as home offices, and living spaces that need to work harder than they look.

We started Duraspace because we were done with the trade-off. Cheap furniture that fell apart before you'd finished paying it off. Expensive furniture that looked the part but couldn't pull its weight. And a whole lot of nothing in between for people living real, compact, modern lives.

So we built the furniture we couldn't find.

Every Duraspace piece starts with a single question: what does this space actually need to do? A sofa that becomes a bed when your friend shows up unannounced. We use FSC-certified wood and breathable linen fabric because furniture you invest in should last — and how we build it matters. We build in the details that make everyday life easier: USB charging ports, built-in cup holders, hidden storage compartments, reversible chaises, two-way hinges. Not gimmicks. Things you'll actually reach for every day.
